These batiked and handpainted textiles from Zimbabwe consist of a collection of 100% cotton batiks and barkweave cotton fabrics.
They can be used as wall-hangings, runners or throws and their striking colors and designs make a wonderful home accessory.
The difference between cotton fabric and barkweave primarly lies in the texture. Barkweave fabric is rough in texture because of the weaving technique used. The barkweave products have a textured weave and are usually fringed on the edges. The cotton batiks are much smoother and lighter.
Both fabrics are durable and 100% produced in Zimbabwe.
